Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in a program organized at the CM residence office on the occasion of Teachers Day today. Chief Minister honored 8 students of high school and intermediate who got the first three positions in the council examination of the year 2022. Deendayal Upadhyay Educational Excellence Award and three high school and intermediate schools were awarded with trophy and prize money. On this occasion, the Chief Minister, Education Minister and departmental officers established Bodhisattva Manthan Educational Dialogue with more than 100 teachers, in which the teachers gave suggestions by making them aware of their work.
Announcing that Chief Minister Dhami said that Mukhyamantri Balashray Yojana would be started in the state for the provision of school education (from class 1 to 12th) of the children who were orphaned due to any kind of disaster, epidemic and accident. Describing the teachers as the future builders of the country in the true sense, he said that the teachers have the status of God. The efforts made by the teachers for the betterment of education and social public awareness reach the parents along with the students. He said that the present era is of innovation. It is also through the teachers that the students showcase their talents in various fields, demonstrate the leadership ability of the students in their respective fields. All possible help will be provided to the teachers and teachers.
Chief Minister Dhami said that in the coming time a state level Science Festival would be organized in collaboration with Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (U-COST). In which science students from across the state will get a chance to display their projects. Chief Minister Dhami said that in order to encourage the education system of girls, like Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya, girls residential schools would be opened in each district in a phased manner in the state. Whose name will be dedicated after the name of the woman of Uttarakhand. On the basis of the availability of land in the state schools, playgrounds will be prepared with the amount given to the panchayats. In the first phase, teacher residences will be built in 50 schools with more student numbers located in remote and remote areas.
Based on the availability of infrastructure resources available at the secondary level, integrated laboratories will be established in 100 schools at the high school level and laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology, geography etc. in 100 schools at the intermediate level. PM In schools covered by nutrition scheme, milk will be given to the students two days a week instead of one day. ₹ 100/day will be given for food arrangement in Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls Hostel and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Residential Hostel. In the event of the teachers staying on long leave in the secondary schools of the state, arrangements will be made to keep ₹ 50000 on the principal’s exile for the provision of subject teachers at the local level in order to continue the teaching work in the schools.
He said that the State Government would take effective steps after considering it with an open mind to develop the educational environment according to the valuable suggestions given by the teachers in this Bodhisattva Manthan Teacher Dialogue Programme. On this occasion, Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat, School Education Secretary Ravinath Raman, Additional Secretary Yogendra Yadav, Director General Banshidhar Tiwari along with departmental officers and teachers and excellent students from different districts were present.
