Students of Uttarakhand will now get free coaching for many competitive exams including IAS-PCS. Libraries will also be made for them in every district. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami announced the launch of Mukhyamantri Utthan and Gyankosh Yojana for the preparation of these exams.
CM said, under the CM Utthan Yojana, students in the state will be given coaching for competitive exams like IAS, IPS, PCS, NDA, CDS, Medical and Engineering. There will be facility for the students who are not able to prepare for these exams due to financial condition.
Students will get these facilities
Online study material, offline classes, exam-related syllabus, question bank etc. facilities will be made available, departmental hostels under Gyankosh scheme, establishment of rich library in every district using ashram method schools and departmental establishments, use of libraries for competitive examinations Youth, students, teachers and members of the community preparing for the exams, a contact center will be set up in the libraries enlisting qualified experienced and professional lecturers, who will solve the subject related problems related to competitive exams, experts will be able to use the libraries. The listing, arrangement of books, infrastructure etc. will be reviewed by the expert committee.
CM gave appointment letters to 150 assistant teachers
Giving appointment letters to 150 selected assistant teachers of five subjects, the CM said, under the guidance of the PM, this employment fair has been started as an innovative effort to provide employment to the unemployed youth in the state.

It is the effort of the government to make maximum employment opportunities available to the youth of the state. For this, regular review is being done along with efforts to fill the vacant posts. Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi is reviewing it every 15 days.
One thousand schools will become cluster model
For quality in education, one thousand schools of the state will be made cluster model schools. In these, primary, junior high school, high school and intermediate colleges coming under the three kilometer limit will be linked together.
This will solve the problem of shortage of teachers in the department. On the other hand, it will be easy to upgrade the schools and make them resourceful. Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that students coming to cluster schools will be given Rs 100 per day as rent. At present, the government is providing Scot facility to more than 3,000 children from remote areas. In this, 600 rupees are being given to the student every month.
270 schools of the state selected under PMShri scheme
In the Education Department, 270 schools have been selected under PM Shree Yojana. In these, from infrastructure works to library, furniture, smart classes and all the facilities and education, an amount of up to two crores will be given by the Central Government.
Stipend up to three thousand per month
Scholarships ranging from Rs 600 to Rs 3000 will be provided to such students studying in government schools of the state from class 6 to 12 who obtain more than 60 percent marks. For this, the Chief Minister’s Meritorious Scholarship Scheme will be started soon.
The state government is providing free text books, note books, school dress, school bags and shoes to 17 lakh students studying in government schools. In future, students of non-government aided schools will also get the benefit of this scheme.
Six crore released to 799 Anganwadi centers
The central government has sanctioned an amount of six crore 23 lakhs for 799 Anganwadi centers running in the premises of government schools. This amount is meant for providing child friendly furniture and outdoor play material to the centers under Samagra Shiksha. An amount of Rs 78 thousand has been released to every Anganwadi center by the government.
DIETs will get 5-5 crores for training
Under the National Education Policy-2020, 5-5 crore will be given to the District Education and Training Institutes (DIET) of the state for qualitative improvement and innovation in education. Special training will be arranged for all the teachers through DIETs. Along with this, parents will also be given training in the interest of the students.
Education system will be 100% online
Under the National Education Policy-2020, Vidya Samiksha Kendra is being set up in the state, for which the Central Government has approved an amount of five crores. With the starting of Vidya Samiksha Kendra, the state’s education system will become 100 percent online.
Under which the data of students and teachers along with complete details of each school will be online. Sitting in the control room of the review center, along with the work of teaching in teachers and schools, the attendance of students and teachers can also be assessed online. On March 27, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh will inaugurate it at Dhami.
