Uttarakhand Weather News: Heavy rain continues to cause trouble in the state. Today, along with Kumaon, heavy rain is expected in some districts of Garhwal. In view of this, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert.

Meteorological Department has also issued the immediate weather forecast for 5 districts of the state. According to this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the next few hours in districts like Udhamsinghnagar, Nainital, Champawat, Pithoragarh and Champawat.
Administration has been instructed to take precautions. Moderate rainfall is likely over Garhwal and Kumaon divisions in the next three hours.
Meteorological Department has recorded 24 mm of rain in Lohaghat, 28 in Nainital, 14.5 mm in Pithoragarh, Champawat and Dharchula in the last three hours.
Regional Meteorological Center Director Vikram Singh said that due to the moist winds coming from the Bay of Bengal and once again active western disturbance, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Kumaon and Garhwal region.
In view of the heavy rains in the state, school holiday has been declared in 7 districts today. Landslides can occur in mountainous areas due to rain.
Water level of rivers and streams may increase, so people living on the banks of rivers have been advised to be alert. If you are also going on a mountain trip, then definitely know the weather condition.
Rain will continue in the hilly areas for the next few days. In such a situation, avoid traveling in bad weather as much as possible.
