Uttarakhand Weather: Heavy rain in 4 districts in next 24 hours

Dehradun: Uttarakhand weather conditions remain harsh. Incessant rains have increased the incidents of landslides, rivers are in spate. With the fall in temperature, there is feeling cold. Meanwhile, Meteorological Department has once again given worrying information.
Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Uttarakhand state for next 24 hours, mainly in districts of Kumaon region.
Spell of rain will continue in the state till October 12. In view of this, yellow alert has been issued. Districts for which the next 24 hours are going to be difficult.
They include districts like Dehradun, Nainital, Champawat and Pauri. There is possibility of heavy rainfall at isolated places in these districts. In view of this, yellow alert has been issued.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is hope of getting some relief from rains till October 13. Although before that till October 12, monsoon activities are likely to be intensified in state.
There is also possibility of thunder and lightning at some places and heavy rain. Meteorological Department has advised all the local people and tourists to be careful and avoid traveling to hilly areas.
Let us inform that for the last 48 hours, heavy rain is going on in the state. It is snowing in Himalayan regions. Due to which this time cold has knocked prematurely in the mountains. People have to resort to warm clothes. Waterlogging in low-lying areas has increased difficulties.
Due to low pressure area formed in Bay of Bengal, activity of Western Disturbance and cyclonic circulation in Andhra, the process of rain continues in various states including Uttarakhand. Process of rain will continue for next few days.
