In the midst of the Joshimath disaster in Uttarakhand, the earth was shaken by an earthquake on Tuesday. Earthquake tremors were felt in many parts of Garhwal and Kumaon at around 2:29 pm. The epicenter of the earthquake is being told as Nepal.
According to the Pithoragarh Disaster Management Department, the intensity of the earthquake has been measured at 5.8 Magnitude. Chamoli District Disaster Management Officer Nandkishore Joshi said that mild tremors have been felt. There is no information of damage from anywhere.

According to information, strong tremors were felt in Chamoli, Dehradun, Srinagar Garhwal, Champawat, Pantnagar, Bhimtal, Bageshwar, Haldwani, Rudrapur, Paharpani and Nainital.
People came out of houses and shops as soon as the earthquake was felt. There was an earthquake in Pithoragarh district earlier on Sunday as well. Whose focal point was Pithoragarh district.
