Nainital: Bike & Scooty serious accident, bike rider died

Nainital: Serious accident took place in Nainital today. There was a head-on collision between a scooty and a bike on Bhawali Road here, resulting in the death of the bike rider, while both his companion and the scooty rider were injured. The police have admitted the injured to the district hospital while the body of the deceased has been filled in the panchnama. The deceased and injured were coming to Nainital to attend a wedding ceremony.

Accident happened near Jokhia
The accident took place on Bhawali Road near Jokhia around 2.30 pm. According to information, 19-year-old Bhagwat Singh and Gopal Singh, residents of Letibunga, were coming to Nainital from their home in Letibunga Mukteshwar on a bike. Ahead of Pines, at Jokhia, he had a head-on collision with a scooty belonging to a private school student from Nainital.

Scooter rider minor
On information about the accident, Cheetah constable Shivraj Rana reached the spot and took both the injured to the district hospital, where Bhagwat died. The police have informed the relatives about the accident. According to the police, the scooty rider is a minor. He was going to his home Bhawali.

Accident in Bhawali as well
Here, on Friday morning, an accident took place in Niglat of Bhawali. In which the driver of the car, a resident of Bageshwar, died. He was returning from Ramamurthy Hospital in Bareilly along with two companions. The driver fell asleep near Niglat, due to which the car went out of control and fell into a deep gorge, killing Chak Hayat Singh.

On the other hand, two other occupants of the car, Khim Singh and Khushhal Singh, residents of Kapkot, were injured. The jawans of the Kumaon Regiment passing by took all three out of the ditch and informed the police and sent the injured to the hospital.
