Notorious Gangster Sunil Rathi has demanded extortion of Rs 50 lakh from jailed by a businessman from Haridwar’s Kankhal, . Rathi also called on WhatsApp and threatened to get his five men to occupy his plot in Roshanabad if he did not get the money.
Even before this, Rathi’s henchmen have threatened the businessman and his brother by showing weapons. Due to which a case has been registered against the notorious Sunil Rathi and his five henchmen at Sidkul police station. SP City Swatantra Kumar Singh says that the matter is being investigated.

Let us tell you that many years ago the infamous Sunil Rathi was shifted from the jail of Uttarakhand to the jail of Uttar Pradesh. Till 2018, Rathi was lodged in Baghpat Jail. In 2018, Premprakash alias Munna Bajrangi, a scoundrel of the Ansari gang and mafia don of eastern Uttar Pradesh, was shot dead inside the jail.
The day Munna Bajrangi was shifted to jail, he was murdered. Notorious Sunil Rathi had himself accepted the charge of killing Munna Bajrangi.
After this, Rathi was shifted from Baghpat to another jail. Then was sent to Tihar Jail in Delhi. After which he was again brought to Haridwar Jail in October last year.
