Clash in NSUI groups, case filed against protester at Shaheed Smarak

Student wing of congress, Indian National Students Union (NSUI) groups clashed with each other outside the Congress headquarters in Dehradun. Police reached the spot and pacified the matter.

On the other hand, the police have also registered a case against the youths protesting at the martyr’s memorial.

A case has been registered against four named and 50-60 others for violation of section 144.

Demonstration of unemployed youths continued on Monday also in protest against the rigging of recruitment examinations and the Dehradun lathi charge.

Meanwhile, a group of NSUI National President Raj Neeraj Kundan, who arrived in Dehradun to protest, started protesting.

In a short while the matter escalated and a fight started between the two factions of NSUI. The police somehow pacified the ruckus.

On the other hand, the police have also registered a case against the youths protesting at the martyr’s memorial.

Hearing on the bail of 13 youths, including Bobby Panwar, accused of stone pelting and nuisance, is also to be held today.
