A vehicle met with an accident on Badrinath Highway on Tuesday morning. In Tota Ghati, a car went uncontrolled and fell towards a deep gorge, but it got stuck in the middle on a stone. During this, the car driver fell into a 400 meter deep gorge.
People informed the police and SDRF about this. SDRF reached the spot and launched a search operation in the ditch. During this, the team has recovered the dead body of the driver.
According to the police, the registration number of car number uk07AN5419 was registered in the RC found in the vehicle in the name of Sharad Sharma s/o Shiv Nath r/o 45, Drona Complex Gandhi Road Dehradun.
As per the Aadhaar card recovered from the deceased, the body has been identified as Sharad Kant s/o Shiv Charan r/o Vrinda Enclave, Phase One, Lane D, Swastik Plaza, Banjarawala.
