Rudrapur/Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in 33rd National Canoe Sprint Senior (Women and Men) Championship at Rudrapur on Thursday as the chief guest. The Chief Minister honored the winning teams in the competition by giving them trophies. On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that sports teaches us the art of living.

This will lead to development of kayaking sports in the state.

Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had told from the ramparts of the Red Fort that there is no dearth of talent in the country. Today, our country is performing best in all fields of sports and is constantly getting fame and medals at the international level. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the talents are getting an opportunity to show their talent.

The Chief Minister said that a new sports policy has been brought to promote sports in the state, which will be made more effective and good. On demand of regional MLA Arvind Pandey, the Chief Minister said that the proposal related to roads of revenue villages settled in Baur reservoir area would be included under CRF scheme of Government of India and to be operated in PPP mode to promote tourism activities in Baur reservoir area. will also be considered.
