Pauri Garhwal: Ankita’s family members have raised questions on functioning of the system. Family suspects that primary post-mortem report may be altered. Because of this, Ankita’s brother has raised demand of the government to conduct post-mortem again.
At the same time, Ankita’s father says that administration broke Ankita’s room in resort haste. There could be evidence in that. Now Ankita’s funeral will be done only when the final post-mortem report comes.
Let us inform that after the post-mortem at AIIMS Rishikesh, Ankita’s body was sent to the Medical College, Srinagar.
Today Ankita’s last rites were to be held at Ancestral Ghat on banks of river Alaknanda, but family has stopped last rites today. On the other hand, the administration team is busy in persuading the family members for the last rites.
Additional Superintendent of Police Pauri Shekhar Chandra Suyal has rubbished the news going on in the social media regarding the erasure of evidence related to the Ankita murder case. He said that all the evidence related to the case has been kept safe by the police.
On the morning of 23 September, the forensic team collected electronic and scientific evidence from Ankita’s room and the entire resort and secured it. The police have sufficient evidence regarding the incident.
