Online program “Sur-Sarita” organized by Help You Trust on “World River Day 2022” occasion

Managing Trustee of the Trust Harshvardhan Agarwal said that "Rivers are an integral part of our life. Rivers are life-giving.

Lucknow: On the occasion of “World River Day – 2022”, “Sur-Sarita” song series program was organized by Help You Educational and Charitable Trust at Lucknow office.

In this program “Sur-Sarita” organized by Help You Trust, Alpana Mehrotra, singer, Lucknow, in her melodious voice, appealed to the general public to conserve rivers through songs written on rivers. In the program, Sanjeev Mehra on synthesizer and Mukesh Prasad on tabla supported Alpana Malhotra.

Program was conducted by Dr. Alka Nirjan. It started with song ‘Ganga Chaiti’ followed by ‘Mere Ram Utarenge Paar’, ‘Nadi Kinere Na Jaiyo’, ‘O Ganga Maiya Tohre Pieri Chadhaiyo’, ‘Tarega Toh Woh Hi, Oh Re Taal Mile, Nadiya Chale Chale Re Dhara’, ‘Ganga Kinre Laga Mela’, Ram Enthralled the audience by singing Teri Ganga Maili.

On this occasion, Managing Trustee of the Trust Harshvardhan Agarwal said that “Rivers are an integral part of our life. Rivers are life-giving. Naturally many animals, animals and animals depend on rivers for water, but pollution spreading in the environment.” It has become a curse for the rivers. The very existence of the rivers which give life to all is in danger itself.

Dr. Rupal Aggarwal said that “Rivers are like our lifeline, rivers give us life. Without them human life cannot be imagined. Many schemes are being run by the Government of India to conserve rivers and save them from getting polluted. Being the responsible citizens of India, we should also support this campaign of the Government of India. Understanding the importance of rivers in human life, we should contribute to the conservation of rivers.
