Dehradun / Nainital: Uttarakhand High Court is strict on plastic ban to keep the state clean. Due to this, the court ordered the government that it will be necessary for all tourists coming to Uttarakhand to bring portable dustbins in taxis and private vehicles. Showing strictness, the court has instructed the officers to work on the field and not on paper.

The Chief Justice of the High Court has ordered all the companies to register themselves with the Pollution Control Board within 15 days. The court has asked the companies working in other states along with Uttarakhand to share with the board what is their plan to collect the garbage.
High Court gave advice to the officers
In the plastic ban case, the High Court asked 13 district panchayats that what is their plan for waste disposal and what is the budget provision. Along with this, what are the problems they are facing in garbage disposal.
High Court has advised the officers that there is work on paper but not on the ground. According to the order of the High Court, follow the instructions given by the Central Pollution Control Board on June 30 for garbage disposal.
Order to register companies within 15 days
Apart from this, the High Court has asked party lawns, hotels and party lawns that perform wedding ceremonies to pick up the plastic themselves. The DMs of all the districts have been asked to sit with hotels, malls and party lawns in their districts and instruct them to take the waste to the recycling plant themselves.
On the petition of Jitendra Yadav, the High Court had said that it is mandatory for the producer, manufacturer, brand owner, importer to register in the pollution board. If you don’t register or don’t give planning for garbage disposal. So their products should be banned in Uttarakhand and the sale of their goods will be banned.
