After passing this proposal in the board meeting of Haridwar-Roorkee Development Authority, the officials have also started the exercise for this. 17 proposals were discussed in the meeting of Haridwar Roorkee Development Authority. The most important topic was to make Haridwar Har Ki Pauri Corridor. Haridwar Roorkee Development Authority has been given permission to make a complete plan for the construction of the corridor, so that the passengers coming to Haridwar can get good facilities. The Haridwar corridor will also be a center of attraction.
Authority’s Vice President Vinay Shankar Pandey said that a consultant firm will be appointed soon for the project. The process to remove encroachment in the area is already underway.
Not only the Sant Samaj but also the local people of Haridwar are enthusiastic about the plan to develop the Har Ki Pauri corridor. People say that Har ki Paidi is a world famous pilgrimage site.

Earlier, the ‘On My Ghat’ scheme was recently launched through the Municipal Corporation, in which a message was given to religious institutions, social workers, voluntary organizations and other non-profit organizations to adopt the Ganga Ghats of Haridwar. .
