Uttarakhand Weather: Due to the re-activation of Western Disturbance in Uttarakhand, the weather pattern is expected to change in three districts from Wednesday. There is a possibility of rain and snowfall in districts like Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Pithoragarh till January 20. At the same time, snowfall is expected in the mountains along with heavy rains in entire Uttarakhand from January 23 to 26.
According to Bikram Singh, director of the Meteorological Center, the activity of Western Disturbance is being seen once again. In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of dense fog in Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar with cold wave. There, there may be rain and snowfall in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, which will continue till January 20.
At the same time, from January 23, snowfall can be seen in the higher Himalayan areas along with heavy rains from the plains to the mountains for the next four days.
Minimum temperature was 1.6 degrees in Pantnagar, Mukteshwar
Due to the changing mood of the weather, a huge drop in mercury has been registered from the plains to the mountains. Pantnagar recorded a maximum temperature of 17.8 degrees and a minimum temperature of 1.6 degrees, Mukteshwar recorded a maximum temperature of 12.2 degrees and a minimum temperature of 1.6 degrees.
While the temperature was recorded at 18.3 and six in the capital Doon and 12-2.6 degrees in Tehri. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Doon is expected to reach 19 and minimum five degrees in the next 24 hours.
