Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (PCS) has postponed the Forest Guard Recruitment Examination and PCS Main Examination to be held this month in view of the continuous questions arising after the Patwari-Lekhpal recruitment paper was leaked. Their new dates have been issued.
After Sanjeev Chaturvedi, Section Officer of the High Secret Department of the Commission, went behind the bars in the paper leak, the youth from all over the state were constantly demanding that the PCS main examination should also be postponed. Get the test done and get re-examined later. On Tuesday, the chairman of the commission, Dr. Rakesh Kumar called a special meeting.
In the meeting there was discussion regarding the examinations. It was decided that the Forest Guard and PCS exams to be held this month would be postponed immediately. PCS main exam will be conducted in February and Forest Guard exam will be conducted in April. Patwari-Lekhpal re-examination and assistant accountant examinations will be held in February only. Commission’s chairman Dr. Rakesh Kumar has said that for him the interest of the candidates is paramount.

After Forest Guard, papers will also change for other recruitments
Commission Chairman Dr. Rakesh Kumar has decided that after the Forest Guard recruitment, now the question papers of PCS Main Exam, Patwari-Lekhpal Exam, Assistant Accountant Exam will also be changed. The Commission has removed the papers of all the recruitments already lined up, which will be replaced by new papers. The candidates were also continuously demanding the same.
Calendar will be released soon
Commission Chairman Dr. Rakesh Kumar has decided that soon the second calendar of examinations will be released after making all the amendments. He has given instructions to the officials in this regard.
Commission is changing, arrangements are getting stricter
Commission Chairman Dr. Rakesh Kumar has appealed to the candidates to maintain peace. The commission is working in their interest only. The Commission is making strict security arrangements for the fairness and excellence of the examinations. Strict arrangements are also being made for the overall conduct of the entire examinations.
