Weather pattern has deteriorated in Uttarakhand for the last two days. The cold has increased due to rain in the hilly areas and cold winds blowing in the plains. On Monday too, the day started with rain in most areas of the state.
At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning that during the next 24 hours there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and hailstorm at most places of Uttarakhand along with Dehradun.
Snowfall may also occur in the higher reaches. Director of Meteorological Center Bikram Singh said that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall in most of the districts with thunder and lightning.
The maximum temperature in Dehradun is likely to be 24 degree Celsius and the minimum is 16 degree Celsius.
