This time the department is preparing separate uniforms for doctors and paramedical staff to provide better health facilities to the devotees on the Chardham Yatra route. For this, agencies are being consulted by the Health Department to decide the design and color of the uniform.
Chardham Yatra is starting from 22nd April. The doors of Kedarnath Dham will open on 25 April and the doors of Badrinath Dham will open on 27 April. According to tradition, the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham open on the day of Akshaya Tritiya. Akshaya Tritiya is falling on April 22, but the auspicious time for opening the doors of both the Dhams will be announced through the temple committees.
This time the focus of the central and state government is on providing better facilities to the devotees visiting Chardham Yatra. On the pedestrian route of Kedarnath and Yamunotri Dham where medical health camps and the number of doctors will be increased. Devotees can easily identify the doctors and paramedical staff deployed on foot.
For this, for the first time, an exercise is underway to prepare separate uniforms for the doctors and paramedical staff who will be posted on the Chardham Yatra route. Secretary Health Dr.R. Rajesh Kumar says that consultation is also being taken with consultancy agencies for uniforms.
