Uttarakhand Weather: Weather in Uttarakhand does not seem to give relief. Rains have continued for the last several days, due to which, troubles have increased.
Plains are battling with waterlogging, flood-like situation has arisen in many places. Roads are blocked due to landslides in mountainous areas. Due to which movement has been badly affected. Many areas of the state have been receiving torrential rains since night. Meanwhile, Meteorological Center Dehradun has once again given alarming information.
Today, on Sunday 25 September, very heavy rain is expected at isolated places in Dehradun, Tehri, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi districts of the state. In view of this, an orange alert has been issued. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places in other districts of the state.
Meteorological Center has also issued the provisional weather forecast for Uttarakhand at 6 am today. In which there is possibility of heavy showers and heavy rain at isolated places in Nainital, Udham Singhnagar and Champawat districts. Orange alert has been issued for these districts.
While in Almora, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar and Dehradun districts, a yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain at isolated places. Due to heavy rains, the water level of rivers and streams may rise. People living on the banks of the river have been advised to be cautious.
