A mild tremor was felt in Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand in the early hours. The intensity of the earthquake on the Richter scale is said to be 2.5.
People are scared due to the tremors of earthquake in Bageshwar at 4.49 am on Monday. No damage is done though.

According to District Disaster Management Officer Shikha Suyal, there is no information about any damage due to the earthquake.
