At the same time, the number of active cases in Uttarakhand is 34. In such a situation, the concern of the health department has also increased.
Two corona patients have been found in Dehradun, while one patient has also been found Covid positive in Nainital district. Talking about active cases in Uttarakhand, there are 22 active cases of corona in the capital Dehradun. There are 7 patients in Haridwar, one each in Nainital Pauri and Champawat.
Corona vaccination campaign is also going on in Uttarakhand. On January 1, 625 people have been vaccinated. So far 91,15,445 people have got the first dose of the vaccine, while 87,23,477 people have got both the doses. The number of people taking booster dose is 22,14,232. Last year, 1,04,609 patients of Corona were found in Uttarakhand, while 1,00,443 patients won the battle against Corona. Last year 334 patients died due to corona.
Number of positive cases of corona may not be very high in Uttarakhand, but the health department is not in the mood to leave any stone unturned in taking precautions regarding this. Where efforts have already been started to speed up the vaccination campaign from the department. Now the department is going to do more work for those patients who are suffering from cold and flu.
