Uttarakhand News: Uttarakhand state Tableau has been selected for the Republic Day Parade-2023. After the guidance of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, a tableau based on Manaskhand was proposed by the Information Department.
Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari said that in the front and middle part of the tableau, wildlife roaming in the Corbett National Park and the famous Jageshwar temple group and deodar trees will be shown in the background of the tableau.
Along with this, Uttarakhand’s famous folk art ‘Aipan’ has also been included in the tableau model. Choliya dance troupe will participate to display the folk culture of Uttarakhand along with the tableau. The theme song of the tableau will be based on the folk culture of Uttarakhand.
So far 13 tableaux have been displayed
So far, 13 tableaux have been displayed on the duty path from Uttarakhand in the past years. These include Fuldei in the year 2003, Nanda Rajjat in the year 2005, Valley of Flowers in the year 2006, Corbett National Park in the year 2007, Adventure Tourism in the year 2009, Kumbh Mela Haridwar in the year 2010, Herbs in the year 2014, Kedarnath in the year 2015, Ramman in 2016, Anashakti Ashram in the year 2019, Kedarkhand in the year 2021 and Uttarakhand moving towards progress in the year 2022.
