Kichha: Union Minister of State for Defense and Tourism Ajay Bhatt attended the inauguration program of various roads constructed by Krishi Utpadan Mandi Samiti Kichha at Chukti Deoria, a freedom fighter village of Kichha. Shri Bhatt inaugurated various road-link routes constructed from 163.25 lakhs in the program.
In the program, Hon’ble Minister started the program by lighting the lamp. Cultural programs were presented by the students of the school. Shri Bhatt said that various routes have been inaugurated here at a cost of Rs.163 lakh 25 thousand in the program of inauguration. He said that it is my good fortune that this work has been done by my hands, there are many more roads left which will also be inaugurated soon.
Rs 800 crore approved for bypass of Rudrapur
He said that serious issues like large scale irregularities in the construction of NH have been repeatedly raised, after which many amendments have been made in it. He said that about Rs 800 crore has been approved for the bypass of Rudrapur. Hon’ble Minister said that the way Rampur to Kathgodam NH is being prepared, the area around Rudrapur will also get its benefit. He said that similarly our government is also bringing an NH road from Moradabad which will go up to Ramnagar which costs about Rs.4000 crore.
He said that during the war between Russia and Ukraine, Hon’ble Prime Minister, after talking to both the countries, brought 22 thousand 5 hundred people of our country safely to their home country. During this, he honored Mrs. Leeladevi Bisht and Dayanand Upadhyay, the wife of freedom fighter and former MLA Late Harish Singh Bisht, by wearing a shawl. Thereafter, the organizers of the program honored Hon’ble Minister Shri Bhatt ji with a memento.
