Haldwani: After heavy landslide near Tower No. 17 of Power Transmission Corporation due to erosion from Gaula River, work is to be done to establish Tower No. 17 and 16 at another place. During this, the work of removing conductor from old towers and pulling conductor between new towers is to be done.
District Magistrate Dhiraj Singh Garbyal has ordered that during the above work, Nainital-Haldwani motor road near (Forest department outpost Ranibagh) and Haldwani-Bhimtal motor road near (Ranibagh bridge) should be closed from 25 September to 29 September 2022 in the morning. There will be a complete ban on traffic between 7 am to 8 pm and between 3 pm to 4 pm.
District Magistrate Mr. Garbyal has ordered the Executive Engineer Power Transmission Corporation that along with the deployment of police at the time of traffic restrictions, the direction indicating notice boards and personnel on the route will guide the passengers in the prescribed clothes. He said that safety standards should be kept in mind while doing the work and there should be no negligence of any kind.
