Miscreants created fierce terror on Punjab roadways bus. Late night in Kotwali area, 4 miscreants stopped the Punjab Roadways bus and tried to snatch bag full of money from the conductor. On protesting, the accused escaped after attacking the driver’s head with an iron rod. Not only this, stones were also rained on the bus. The injured driver has been taken for hospital treatment.
According to the information received, at around 11:30 pm on Sunday night, a bus from Punjab Roadways came and stopped on the Rishi Kul Bridge, during this time three to four unidentified people boarded the bus and they tried to snatch the bag full of money from the operator. The driver left the seat and clashed with the robbers.
During this time, a robber attacked the driver’s head with a bottle due to which he was seriously injured, but due to the driver’s courage, the robber could not succeed in snatching the bag full of money from the operator, while some passengers in the bus also riding the bus also. When the protest started, all the accused got down from the bus but even after this they stoned the bus from below.
The seriously injured operator who escaped from the spot was immediately rushed to the district hospital where he is undergoing treatment on number 100, although this area comes in the Kankhal police station area, so the police after doing this case I will now investigate further.
