Rudrapur: District Magistrate Yugal Kishore Pant conducted a surprise inspection of the free food arrangement “Guest Service” canteen run by the district administration. During the inspection, he tested the quality of the food by eating Rajma-Chawal rice prepared in the canteen.
Expressing satisfaction over the quality of the food being found right, the District Magistrate said that the visiting visitors should continue to get quality food in a clean environment. After having food in the canteen, the officer himself cleaned the plate by washing it with his own hands.

By washing the plate, the District Magistrate gave a clear message that no work is small or big and every person should pay special attention to cleanliness and hygiene. Directing the Deputy Collector Pratyush Singh, the District Magistrate said that the quality of the food must be checked by tasting the food at least once a week.
