Chief Secretary Dr. SS Sandhu inspected the travel arrangements after reaching Hemkunt Sahib and Badrinath Dham and inspected the reconstruction works conducted there.
Apart from having darshan at Badrinath Dham, he also offered prayers at Hemkunt Sahib Gurdwara.
During the inspection, the Chief Secretary also took detailed information about the newly constructed helipad, track railing, accessible toilet and other construction works in Hemkunt Sahib for emergency rescue works.
He directed to expedite the ongoing reconstruction works under the Badrinath Master Plan.
He also inspected the road route from Badrinath to Musa Pani under the Border Development Plan.
During this, District Magistrate Chamoli Himanshu Khurana also apprised the Chief Secretary about the progress of construction works in Badrinath.
