Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid floral tributes to the statue of Brahmaleen Maharaj in the tribute program organized on the eighth death anniversary of Brahmalin Devendra Swaroop Brahmachari Maharaj in Haridwar today.
He said that the life of Brahmalin Devendra Swaroop Brahmachari Maharaj was spent in the works of protection of Sanatan Dharma and public welfare. His whole life is a source of inspiration for all of us, he has always been selflessly involved in the work of public service.
The CM said that, for the first time, our government made budget provision for the Kavad Yatra and held the meeting of Kanwar Mela in Haridwar instead of Dehradun, so that all the work was completed smoothly.
He said that the expert committee constituted for testing and implementation of Uniform Civil Code is going to launch the portal/website today, through which public opinion will be taken on the code and the final draft will be prepared on the basis of the points given by them.
CM Dhami said that, our government is working to double the growth rate of Uttarakhand and by becoming a partner of the people, will make Uttarakhand the best state in every field in the coming years. Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bahuguna, Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev also spoke in the program.
Several dignitaries including Cabinet Minister Prem Chand Agarwal, MLA Haridwar Madan Kaushik, Roorkee MLA Pradeep Batra were present on the occasion.
