Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 19 works worth 2198.30 lakh in a program organized at Bilauna, Bageshwar Bus Depot today. Along with this, the buses were flagged off.
Chief Minister Dhami said that new places would also be connected to Bageshwar bus depot, where the depot would be easy to travel from Bageshwar and business would increase and employment opportunities would also increase.
He said, the government has provided free travel facility for senior citizens, girl students, freedom fighters, recognized journalists, state agitators, Divyangjans, and sisters on the occasion of Rakshabandhan through Transport Corporation for specific classes.
During this, along with the announcement of expansion of Baijnath Mela Dungri helipad, he announced to start a degree college in Kafligair and give approval to conduct classes from the current academic session 2022-23.
He also talked about upgradation of Higher Secondary School, Pant Kowali, asphaltization of Paldi to Zainkaras motorway and Gurna to Nainiudiyar motorway as well as operation of various faculties in Kapkot Chandra Singh Shahi Mahavidyalaya and construction of bus station and 02 taxi stands at Kapkot.
Transport and Social Welfare Minister Chandan Ram Das, MP Ajay Tamta, MLA Kapkot Suresh Gadhia and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
