On the orders of the High Court, action is on to install loudspeakers in the state. So far, about 1500 loudspeakers have been removed by the police in the state.
Of these, 1382 loudspeakers have been removed from Garhwal division. Whereas, there has been less action in the Kumaon region. Only 108 loudspeakers have been unloaded from here.
Let us tell you that last year, on the orders of the High Court, the police had started the process of removing these loudspeakers installed at religious places.
According to the information received from the police headquarters, this action will continue further.
