At Jio’s AGM, Mukesh Ambani said that Jio 5G will be the world’s largest 5G network. Initially 5G service will be provided in 5 cities. 5G service will start in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata till Diwali. After this, 5G service will be delivered across the country by December 2023. Jio will offer 5G high-speed Jio Air Fiber.

Mukesh Ambani said that jio 5g will prove to be a true 5G service. He said that only Jio has 700 MHz spectrum. The coverage of Jio 5G will be great as well as it will be the most affordable in providing 5G service. He told that Jio is going to invest Rs 2 lakh crore for 5G.
Reliance Jio to launch cloud based PC service
Ambani told about the Jio 5G service that it is an ultra high speed fixed broadband with the help of which high quality educational content can be provided in every classroom across the country. Apart from this, Reliance Jio will launch a cloud based PC service. Work is being done in collaboration with Google for 5G smartphones. Apart from this indigenously developed end-to-end 5G stack which will be equipped with advanced technology like quantum security. It has been developed in-house by more than 2000 young engineers of Jio.
Qualcomm will help in setting up 5G network
Mukesh Ambani announced that Qualcomm will help Jio in setting up 5G infrastructure and for this there has been a partnership between Reliance Jio and Qualcomm. Reliance Jio will invest the entire Rs 2 lakh crore for the nationwide 5G network. The number of customers of Reliance Jio has exceeded 421 million and Jio customers are using average 20 GB data every month, which has doubled compared to last year.
Jio Experience Center will open in Mumbai
Reliance Jio Infocomm Chairman Akash Ambani has announced that the Jio Experience Center will open in the country’s financial capital Mumbai. Work continues with Google on affordable 5G smartphones. With the advent of 5G, Jio Air Fiber will change the entire video and gaming experience and take it to the next level.
