A photo with an illegal firearm was uploaded on social media by Vivek Kumar resident village Dharampur police station Banda in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Taking immediate cognizance of which the Social Media IT Cell informed the Superintendent of Police S Anand.

After this, SP directed the police station in-charge Manoj Kumar to arrest the youth. On the information of the informer, Banda police arrested Vivek Kumar from village Dharampur Primary School with a country-made pistol and cartridges and sent him to jail.
SP Rural Sanjeev Kumar Bajpai said that some youths had uploaded their photos with illegal firearms on social media in Banda police station area.
Two people have already been sent to jail in this case for robbing their friends. Today Vivek Kumar is being arrested and sent to jail with illegal firearms and cartridges.
