Uttarakhand: UKPSC not confirmed AE-JE recruitment, waiting for UKSSSC calendar

Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has not yet been able to take any decision on the Combined State Junior Engineer Service Examination-2021 recruitment (AE-JE recruitment) held between May 7 and 10 in the state. Candidates are confused. 61 candidates related to paper leak have also been identified.

Actually, the paper leak of Patwari recruitment of Uttarakhand Public Service Commission was caught. This recruitment was investigated by STF and later by SIT. After investigation, the list of the candidates involved in the paper leak was made available to the commission from the police. On February 10, the commission released this list on the website, in which 44 accused of Patwari Lekhpal recruitment and 12 candidates of AE-JE recruitment were included.

After this, on March 3, in another list received from the police, the names of 49 candidates were released, who were accused of paper leak of AE-JE recruitment. The commission has also issued show cause notices to them. But till now the commission has not been able to take any decision regarding the examination. Because of this the candidates are in confusion. They are worried about whether the exam will be canceled or not.

If it was cancelled, they would have to prepare again for it. If not cancelled, what would be the guarantee that all the candidates who pass are honest. Commission’s secretary GS Rawat says that the commission is currently contemplating on it. What will be the decision, it is difficult to say now. Although sources say that the commission can cancel this exam.

Waiting for the calendar of Subordinate Services Selection Commission
Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission Chairman GS Mertolia had announced to re-do the canceled recruitments in March-April. Under this, he had also talked about releasing a calendar but no work has been done so far. Because of this the candidates are worried. Meanwhile, a new Controller of Examinations has been posted in the Commission. Commission Chairman Mertolia says that a decision will be taken soon.
