Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut will star in sequel of Manikarnika franchise titled ‘Manikarnika Returns : The Legend of Didda’. Kangana made this announcement on her Twitter handle.
He said, “Our Bharatvarsha has been a witness to the story of many bravehearts like Rani of Jhansi. One such heroic story is that of a queen of Kashmir, who defeated Mahmud Ghaznavi not once or twice. Kamal Jain and I are bringing ‘Manikarnika Returns : The Legend of Didda. ”
Sources close to it said that Kangana Ranaut’s new film ‘Manikarnika Returns : The Legend of Didda’ will be made on a large scale and internationally.
After 2019’s ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’, Kangana and producer Kamal Jain have once again joined hands to bring back the franchise.
Let me tell you that Didda was the queen of Kashmir, who defeated Mahmud Ghaznavi twice in battle. She had one leg suffering from polio, but she was one of the greatest warriors.
Kangana will now fulfill her recent commitments and begin shooting for the new film from January 2022.
