Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has issued blacklisting notices to 56 candidates involved in the paper leak. They have been asked to reply within 15 days. After this, blacklisting them, their information will be released on the website. At the same time, the commission started departmental disciplinary action after suspending two employees who were jailed for paper leak.
Haridwar SSP has provided a list of names of the candidates involved in the paper leak to the commission. According to commission officials, 44 candidates involved in the paper leak of Patwari-Lekhpal recruitment held on January 8 have been identified.

At the same time, 12 candidates involved in the paper leak in the JE-AE recruitment examination were identified. The investigation of both the cases is still going on. Therefore, the number of candidates may increase.
The commission held a meeting on Thursday and issued show cause notices to these 56 candidates and sought their response within 15 days. After this, putting them in the blacklist, this information will be released on the website.
Destroy old papers, make new ones
The Commission has accepted that the papers of Patwari-Lekhpal recruitment, Forest Guard exam were prepared under the supervision of paper leak accused Sanjeev Chaturvedi, which have been destroyed.

This year, Sanjeev Chaturvedi did not play any role in preparing the question paper for any examination. The commission has destroyed the papers of Sanjeev’s tenure. The new panel has started the work of making new papers. PCS main exam paper is also being prepared again.
Commission’s Controller of Examinations removed
The government on Thursday removed Sundar Lal Semwal, Controller of Examinations of the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, who came under controversy after the Patwari recruitment paper leak episode.
City Magistrate of Haridwar Awadhesh Kumar Singh has been given additional charge in his place. Since the paper leak of Sanjeev Chaturvedi, the section officer of the Commission’s top secret department, questions were being raised continuously on the Controller of Examinations.
Additional Secretary Personnel Kamendra Singh issued an order in this regard. At present, Semwal has been kept in forced waiting.
