Boy, thrown 2 minor girls from hostel roof, one dead other injured

Patna: In Ramkrishna Nagar Colony of Bahadurpur police station area of ​​Patna, the capital of Bihar, a boy threw two girls down from the roof of a five-storey house, killing one on the spot. The other was seriously injured.

The injured girl has been admitted to PMCH for treatment. Angered by this incident, people protested fiercely.

The deceased Saloni (13 years) and injured Sonali (10 years) are both real sisters, daughter of Nandlal Gupta, who works in the local market committee.

The father of these girls Nandlal Gupta was living on rent in the said house and he is originally a resident of Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh. There is a hostel in this house.

Elder sister Saloni died on the spot after being thrown from the terrace while Sonali is seriously injured.



Angry over the incident of the girl’s death, the locals blocked the road by setting two autorickshaws on fire.

A furious mob started pelting stones at the police who came to control the situation, in which more than a dozen policemen including Bahadurpur police station president Sanovar Khan were injured.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Patna (City) Amit Sharan said that the accused youth Vivek Kumar has been arrested.

The accused accepted his crime but he refused to explain the reason behind the incident.

SP City said that the accused is being interrogated, he told himself to be a resident of Darbhanga district.

SP City further informed that the elder sister Saloni died and the post-mortem of her body is being done.

At the same time, the injured younger sister Sonali has been admitted to Patna Medical College Hospital for treatment.
