Dubai: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is on a week-long visit to the UAE to attend the Dubai Expo 2020. Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has praised the people of Kerala for contribution of the people of Kerala in development of UAE.
Let us tell you that most of the people of Kerala go to UAE for work. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum welcomed Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at the Dubai Expo 2020 on Wednesday.
The Chief Minister was also present at the inauguration of the Kerala Week organized at the Indian Pavilion at the Dubai Expo.
Pinarayi thanked Al Maktoum for the UAE’s contribution to the development of Kerala. He also urged Sheikh to invest more in Kerala.
The UAE Prime Minister, through Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, thanked the people of Kerala living in the UAE.
He said that the UAE is proud of its historic ties with India, especially Kerala.
He said that both the UAE and India look forward to working together to strengthen their bilateral ties and promote sustainable development in both countries.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by Kerala Industries Minister P Rajeev, Indian Ambassador to UAE Sanjay Sudhir, Consul General of India Aman Puri and Lulu Group Chairman MA Yusufali were also present during the meeting.
