New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Modi) virtual rally were proposed on Friday for upcoming Uttarakhand Assembly Election 2022. Actually this rally has been canceled due to bad weather and rain.
Prime Minister’s speech was to be telecast live at total of 56 locations in about 14 assembly constituencies of Almora, Bageshwar, Champawat and Pithoragarh in 4 districts of Uttarakhand.
Explain that due to the Corona guidelines, political parties are not allowed to hold big rallies and road shows right now. Following the Corona guidelines, leaders can now go only for door-to-door campaigning.
Assembly elections are going to be held in Uttarakhand on 14th February and in view of that PM Modi virtual rally were proposed on 4th February. The event had to be canceled due to bad weather.
Western Disturbance has become active again in many states of the country including Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department had issued an alert of heavy rain and snowfall in Uttarakhand for the next 48 hours on Thursday.
The Meteorological Department Dehradun has predicted heavy to very heavy rains in the mountainous districts of Garhwal and Kumaon.
Also, due to active western disturbances, there is a possibility of hailstorm and lightning in districts like Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri and Tehri with rain.
In view of the possibility of rain and snowfall, an orange alert has been issued in these areas.
