Nainital: In Nanakmatta of Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand, the police have arrested 7 people while disclosing the unethical prostitution trade. These include 3 women and 4 men.
According to information received from Udham Singh Nagar police, a raid was conducted in the local Shivam Vatika by Nanakmatta police on the complaint of unethical prostitution.
During this, the police arrested 7 people red handed. Those arrested include Akhilesh Mishra of Nanakmatta, Harish Prasadnd Bhagwan Singh Dhariyal of Pithoragarh, Dharmendra Bam of Khatima, Kajal of Rampur in Uttar Pradesh, Anshi Meri Minj alias Nukku of Gumla in Jharkhand, Parvati alias Simran of Harkeshnagar in Delhi.
At the same time, some objectionable items and some cash have also been found by the police in the raid. Police also recovered six mobile phones and other items from the spot.
The police have started further action by registering a case against everyone under the Immoral Trade Prevention Act.
