Uttarakhand Public Service Commission will issue the admit card on December 8 for the examination for the recruitment of 1521 posts of police constable in the state. The State Public Service Commission is going to conduct the first Group-C recruitment examination in the 18 recruitments received from the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC).
2,58,448 candidates had applied for the recruitment of 1521 posts of Constable, PAC, IRB, Fireman in Police Department. Of these, 1,80,005 candidates appeared for the physical efficiency test, out of which 1,30,445 candidates passed. Meanwhile this recruitment got from UKSSSC to the State Public Service Commission.
State Public Service Commission had fixed its date as December 18. Commission Secretary GS Rawat said that the admit cards for the examination will be issued on December 8. He informed that 413 centers have been set up across the state for the examination. Due to the big examination, the commission has made elaborate arrangements with the help of the police-administration.
100 marks exam for recruitment of Bandi Rakshak
There will be a 100 marks exam for the recruitment of prison guards in the jails of Uttarakhand. Two hours will be given for the exam. According to the commission’s secretary GS Ratav, the time and marks of the examination could not be published in the release issued on November 15.
He told that in the paper of the prisoners, 20 questions of 20 marks will be asked in general Hindi. 40 questions for 40 marks will be asked from General Knowledge and General Studies (General Intelligence Test and Mental Ability, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, State, Current Events of National and International Importance, Basic knowledge of Computer). At the same time, 40 questions of 40 marks will be asked from various information related to Uttarakhand.
