Nainital: According to the Meteorological Department, there will be no relief from rainy weather. In weather forecast released till October 5, Meteorological Department has expressed possibility of thunder, rain and lightning in Kumaon region of Uttarakhand state.
According to the department, on October 2, 3 & 4, weather will remain dry in these districts of Uttarakhand state.
However, from October 5, it may start raining again. It was said in weather forecast that all the districts of Kumaon region are Nainital, Champawat, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Udham Singh Nagar. There is possibility of light to moderate rain at some places in Almora and adjoining districts of Garhwal region. Also, the weather in Garhwal region will remain dry.
While issuing yellow alert for October 5, Meteorological Department has also expressed possibility of thunder and lightning in some places of Kumaon region.
Right now, weather is clear in the state. It is starting to feel little cold in the morning and at night. On the other hand, Gangotri and Yamunotri highways are getting blocked time and again.
In Sahiya of Chakrata, floods of Amlawa river took away the fields and houses. Here problems of farmers have increased due to the floods flowing along with Das Hydrum scheme.
Along with plan, more than dozen canals have also been destroyed. Many roads are still blocked in Jaunsar Bawar area. Due to which villagers are facing problems.
