Rudraprayag: Rain is wreaking havoc in Uttarakhand. A red alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department in the hilly districts. Now the news of school holidays is coming in different districts.
DM has already given orders to keep schools closed in Rudraprayag, while a big update is coming from Haldwani. Nainital DM has issued orders to keep all the schools in the district closed on 16 September i.e. Friday. Let’s talk about Almora.
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the rain continues in the district since Wednesday night. Due to which the school remained closed on Thursday.
Due to the heavy rain alert of the Meteorological Department, the district administration has decided to keep the school closed in the district on 16 September i.e. Friday also.
On the instructions of DM Vandana, the Chief Education Officer has issued its orders. On the other hand, Champawat District Magistrate Narendra Singh Bhandari has declared a one-day holiday in all government, non-government, private schools and Anganwadi centers of Champawat.
