Haridwar: A child was attacked and injured by a pitbull dog of a person living in the neighborhood in Kankhal area. The child had come to his aunt’s place. The dog tore the flesh from his hands and feet. The relatives took the child to the hospital. A complaint has been given to the police against the neighbor.
According to the police, Jyotir Gupta, nine-year-old son of Sheikhpura Kankhal, resident of Vishal Gupta, had gone to Mishra Garden at his aunt’s house on Saturday. Vishal gave a complaint to the police and told that the pitbull dog who came from Shubham Ram Chandwani’s house living in the neighborhood attacked his son who was playing outside the house.
It is alleged that the dog has injured him by scratching at many places. Many times the neighbors have been told not to keep the dog loose. CO City Manoj Kumar Thakur told that the complaint has been received. The matter is being investigated.
