Paid tributes to Pandit Narayan Dutt Tiwari

Haldwani: Tributes were paid on Tuesday to the great freedom fighter and development man Pandit Narayan Dutt Tiwari on his 97th birth anniversary and fourth death anniversary.

Representatives of various political and social organizations participated in the all-party tribute meeting program organized by Deepak Balutia, nephew of Late ND Tiwari, at the Camp Office, Kathgodam and paid floral tributes to Late Tiwari.

Addressing the tribute meeting, Deepak Balutia said that ND Tiwari was a personality who was famous in the whole country as well as abroad. The scholarship of such a person was appreciated all over the world. He demanded to rename Kumaun University as Vikas Purush Pandit ND Tiwari.

Balutia said that ND Tiwari always took forward development by rising above party politics. As a result of this, today on his birth anniversary and death anniversary, not one party but people of all parties including Congress, BJP, SP, AAP, UKD were present in the program. It is clear from this that ND Tiwari has been the most loved leader of all parties. They cannot be confined to any party.

While addressing the gathering SP leader Shoaib Ahmed, AAP leader Samit Tikku, Congress leader Lalit Joshi, Khajan Pandey, UKD leader Bhuvan Joshi, BJP leader Lalit Joshi, Congress leader Shobha Bisht, Dr. Seema Dhanik, Harish Tappi etc. said that ND Tiwari He was an all-party leader who took everyone along.

He always rose from party politics and carried forward the thinking of development works and farsightedness. Everyone supported the demand to name Kumaun University after Late ND Tiwari. Also demanded to install the statue of Vikas Purush ND Tiwari in Haldwani.
