A young man posted as a postman in the Almora head post office died in suspicious condition. On Saturday, some people in a critical condition had admitted the youth to the base hospital, where the youth died during treatment.
Family members have expressed suspicion of murder. Police have taken the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem.
35-year-old Anoop Kumar Negi, son of Raghuveer Negi, resident of Dadamandi, Pauri Garhwal, was posted as a postman in the Almora head post office here.

Late Saturday evening, some people took the young man in a serious condition to the Dheen Base Hospital of the Medical College.
While admitted to the hospital, he introduced himself as a colleague of the young man, but he disappeared from there as soon as he admitted him.
The young man died during treatment late in the night. According to the information of the hospital, the youth had suffered a serious head injury.
Police was informed about the matter. The police reached the spot and contacted the family members of the youth.
