A tourist from Gujarat died due to neglect of safety norms at a paragliding site in Bhimtal. Surprisingly, the administration, police and tourism department are saying that even after two days there is no information about the accident. This incident has once again exposed the negligence being taken towards the safety of pilots and tourists at the paragliding site.

The relatives of the slain tourist allege that at the time of the accident, even an ambulance was not found on the spot. A local man took the tourist in a critically injured condition to the hospital in his car. Paragliding comes under the category of adventure tourism. That is, there is a risk of accident during this game.

This is the reason why it has always been mandatory to follow all the safety rules at the paragliding site. In contrast, this year there have been two accidents at the paragliding site of Bhimtal. In both the accidents, the negligence of safety standards has become the cause of the accident. The accident on Friday was also due to negligence in security arrangements at the paragliding site.

Where the tourist reached the takeoff site to take photos. Meanwhile, the tourist and the pilot were seriously injured in the accident. Surprisingly, the information about this accident could not reach the local police and tourism department. In such a situation, monitoring from the level of the responsible departments also comes under question.

Accident happened during parachute take off

Some tourists came to take photos at the tackle point at the paragliding site of Pandegaon in Bhimtal. During the parachute take off, Jagdish Bhatt resident of Pushkar Dham Rajkot (Gujarat) suddenly came close to the parachute while taking a photo. Due to which he collided with the pilot and the tourist in the parachute and fell down. Jagdish suffered a serious head injury due to the fall. He was brought to CHC Bhimtal. Where the doctors referred to the Higher Center after first aid.

The family took him to a private hospital in Haldwani, where Jagdish Bhatt died during treatment on Saturday. Kush Bhatt, the kin of the deceased, alleged that he did not get an ambulance on the spot, and he does not want to say anything more than this. With the help of a person, he took the injured Jagdish to the hospital.
