Governor Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh (Ret.) and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated as guests in Shri Krishna Janmashtami Utsav program organized at Police Lines, Dehradun today.
Cultural performances based on the songs of Lord Krishna and Radha were given by the artists. Governor G. Singh said that Shri Krishna Janmotsav always brings with us enthusiasm, joy, inspiration and enthusiasm. The life character, personality and teachings of Lord Shri Krishna show us the supernatural path.
Chief Minister Dhami said that each incarnation of Lord Shri Krishna gives a new lesson to human beings to live life. His inspiration makes man successful and prosperous. Whenever there is a loss of religion, Lord Shri Krishna has protected the religion and the world in various incarnations.
Many dignitaries including First Lady Gurmeet Kaur, MP Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Naresh Bansal, Cabinet Minister Premchandra Agarwal, Ganesh Joshi, MLA Khajan Das, MLA Munna Singh Chauhan, MLA Savita Kapoor were present in the program.
