Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today flagged off Haldwani, Pantnagar, Almora and Pithoragarh heli services from Jolly Grant Airport Dehradun. Chief Minister thanked the Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia for starting this heli service.
Chief Minister said that the Heli services being run in the state under the UDAN scheme would play an important role in increasing the air connectivity in the state. These services will make the transportation facility easier for the people. He said that Uttarakhand is an important state from the point of view of religious and tourism.
He said that it is the endeavor of the State Government to provide all facilities to the pilgrims and tourists to travel in the State. Air connectivity is being further expanded in the state. Pawan Hans should continue this service three days a week and also increase the number of seats.
