In Haldwani today, thousands of people sat on the road in the midst of the bitter cold in protest against the action of pillaging by the Railways. The police have sealed the surrounding areas.
Women and children are also included in the protesting people. All of them are sitting on the road in this bitter winter. Police force is also deployed on the spot, which however is very less.
City Magistrate Richa Singh, ADM Manish Singh, SP City Harbans Singh, SP Crime Jagdish Chandra, CO Bhupendra Dhoni are also present on the occasion.
The administration team is reaching the railway station. Railway officials are already there. The demarcation process is about to begin.
