Kotdwar: Kotdwar city of Uttarakhand… these days, posters related to escort service (Gigolo jobs) have been put up everywhere. These posters offer playboy jobs and gigolo jobs to unemployed men.

It is also written that boys can earn from five thousand rupees to 10 thousand rupees every day by joining escort company. Applications have been sought from men interested in escort jobs, along with a WhatsApp number shared. After the complaint of city residents, Pauri police is busy in locating behind of advertisement.
These posters offering gigolo jobs have been pasted at almost all major squares of Kotdwar including bus stations and railway stations. Some have even pasted these on the walls of the office premises of the circle officer of Kotdwar police and the city police station.
Confirming the incident, the Kotdwar police said that the poster was informed by the residents. We called on the mobile number given on the poster, but it was switched off. After this the number was kept on surveillance. On checking the number, it was found that the last time this number was active near the Delhi-Haryana border.
Police say that no complaint has been received so far in this case. However, taking suo motu cognizance of the matter, the police have started investigation. Soon the accused will be identified. Those involved in the incident will be arrested.
